Of course, we all know that the communication is a big problem, just like Rondo said last night. New guys on this team are just not used to play this kind of defensive system, and you can see frequently guys bumpin' each other on both sides of the floor.

You can look at this trade from two sides: The good one and the bad one.

The good one is that Courtney is really a good player, he can score, he can play some defense, he's athletic. Enough for a role player.

The bad side is that we gave up on E'Twaun and JJJ who had really great Summer League. Moore just scored 25 two days ago, and Johnson is really showing some improvements in his sophmore year, I was really looking forward to see those two guys play in the next season. The other bad side is that Courtney could be a bust. He might not fit in with all of these different personalities, but I'm not actually worried about that, I mean, we have Doc, right? He can handle these kind of things.

We will see how this will turn out, now one thing is sure - We need more players, because we just lost 2 of them (Sean Williams was part of the trade, too).

Darko Milicic a Celtic? Yes, please.

There are some rumors that the Celtics are frontruners for Darko Milicic. We all remember this guy as 2nd draft pick behind LeBron James, and in front of some players like D-Wade, Melo and Bosh. He is not a bust, if you ask me. He's 7'0", can defend (really well), in season 2010-2011 he had 2 blocks per game in just 24 minutes played. He can rebound, and that is probably the only thing we need from him. Only problem with Darko is his temper and work ethic, but with KG around him, that wouldn't be a problem.

I would still prefer Greg Stiemsma, but there aren't alot of elite defenders left on free agency, so please Danny Ainge - React now! Sign him, he would do great job for us.

Celtics introduced Jason Terry, Jeff Green, Brandon Bass and Chris Wilcox

I'm so excited to have these guys, now this is really deep bench (something that we didn't have last year). Green, Terry and Brandon Bass can put up 15 points night in and night out, while Wilcox can run the floor and bring so much energy with his 15-20 minutes per game. Can't wait for the season, this one is going to be so special.

I've heard some rumors that we are looking to sign Courtney Lee, that would be great addition, but I'm still for that that we bring Mickael Pietrus back. We will see in next few days.

Boston Celtics 2011/2012 Season Players Ratings

Rajon Rondo

Regular season:

Rondo was really incosistent in the first part of the season, he could put up 30 points and 15 assists in one night, the next one he would be invisible with 5 points. He picked his game up after the All-Star break and had historical 28 games in a row with 10+ assists. He was the main reason for the Celtics finishing at No.4 in the East, and was one of the MVP candidates. Rondo finished as the assist leader with 11.7 per game and 11.9 points per game scored. He was triple-double machine with 6 in regular season, and some of them were just historical.

18 points, 17 rebounds and 20 assists inked his name among some legends like Magic Johnson and Oscar Robertson.

Improvements:

-Jump shot: He really became a threat for the opponents with knocking 18 ft jumpers at the end of the season, and defenders couldn't leave him alone as much as they did in last few years.

-Leadership: We all know that in last few years this is Rajon Rondo's team, but we really saw that this season. He was calling actions, without Doc Rivers' advice, and he called them well. He was calling for the huddle in crucial game moments, and giving some advices to the younger guys.

Downgrades:

-Defense: His regular season defense was much worse than I ever saw him play. Yeah, he had 1.8 steals per game, but that (for me) just wasn't enough. Even though, he finished in 2nd Team All Defense, but sometimes he seemed like wasn't interested guarding some guys, and often giving up on the plays.

-Temper: Rajon Rondo was never suspended from the game, but this season he did that twice. He earned 13 technicals, in his first five years he had just 19. He needs to calm down a little bit.

Playoffs:

Wow. Just wow. If you ask anybody who was the best player of the playoffs, almost everybody would say that was LeBron James. But, the second best player for sure was Rajon Rondo. He averaged over 17 points, almost 12 assists, 7 rebounds and 2.4 steals per game, that was amazing. He also scored career high 44 against Miami Heat in Game 2, but that just wasn't enough for the win. He had 4 triple-doubles in 19 games played and played some of the best basketball of his life.

Grade: A+

Chris Wilcox returning to Celtics

Free agent center Chris Wilcox, who spent part of the 2011-12 season with the Boston Celtics before a heart ailment cut his year short, will re-sign with the team, according to a league source.

Barring an unexpected use of the biannual exception, Wilcox will return on a minimum deal of $1.35 million for a 10-year veteran (though the league picks up a large portion of that move, putting Boston on the hook for merely $854,389 next season). Last year he played for the taxpayers' mini-midlevel exception of $3 million.

Wilcox appeared in 28 games last season, averaging 5.4 points and 4.4 rebounds over 17.2 minutes per game before a routine screening in March detected an aortic irregularity. He underwent heart surgery later that month at the Cleveland Clinic.

Wilcox only this past week resumed basketball activities, but once he completes his rehab he will add much-needed frontcourt depth to the Celtics.

Boston moved quick to sign Wilcox to the taxpayers' mid-level exception after the lockout lifted last season. He started slow -- hindered by minor injuries -- but came on strong and proved to be both a force on the glass and someone that could run with Rajon Rondo in transition.

Wilcox never has been to the postseason, but the Celtics kept him a part of the team even after he was waived to make room for center Ryan Hollins. Wilcox was spotted in the locker room during the playoffs. He came to Boston for a couple of playoff games and watched from the baseline opposite the Celtics bench.

Wilcox wasn't the only Celtics player to have his season ended by a heart ailment; teammate Jeff Green did as well. Both will be back with the Celtics next season.
